  4. Poseidon • god of the sea • The power over storms, winds, and earthquakes

  5. Aphrodite • goddess of beauty and love • Controlled the beauty of immortals and their love affairs

  6. Athena • goddess of wisdom, peace, and warfare • Protector of Athens

  7. Apollo • Sun god • god of music, poetry, prophecy, healing, and plague

  8. Artemis • goddess of the moon, wild animals, and the hunt • Helps women in childbirth
