  3. Write Here, Write There, Write Everywhere! • Stop and think about how many times a day you interact with writing: • Facebook • The Internet • Texting • Magazines • Newspapers • Music • Television • Movies • Writing is everywhere!

Write Makes Might • Writing is beneficial because … • It gives you a voice to be heard • It helps you discover your thoughts, emotions, and solutions • It allows you to express yourself more clearly • It forces you to slow down • It is relaxing (unless you’re trying to make a deadline) • It is a doorway to other perspectives and worlds
