  5. Growth • The firefly starts out as an egg • It hatches into a larva • Then goes into the pupa stage • Then is an adult firefly and then lays eggs

  7. Fun Facts • A female firefly is longer than a male firefly • A female firefly lays over 500 eggs • Fireflies start out as glowormes • Not all fireflies glow • The lamp is cold
