What is the Chat Room? • The Chat Room is a place for international exchange. • Students come and talk in English(and other languages) with international students. • The university employs international students as “Chat Leaders” to lead English language discussions. • Chat Leaders must have high proficiency in English but do not have to be native speakers.

  9. Types of sessions Group Sessions( 6 people max) Levels: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced One on One Sessions

  10. Session contents They use around 40 daily topics. Food, Travel, Shopping, Movies, School, Work etc. Advanced Topics: Ethics, Life stages, Personal values etc. Special Sessions: Debate and Presentation sessions.

  11. Session schedule One on One sessions (15min) *Session 1 is 30 minutes

What are the benefits? • Students can interact in English with their peers. • Students can practice their English in a fun, pressure free environment. • Students can learn and listen to natural English (especially casual expressions). • Students can learn about the cultures of various countries.
