Specifications • Easy to use • No expert knowledge to run preconfigured settings • The system should be portable to different places • Easy to extent • New programs should be easy to include in the transmission chain, e.g. new encoders like SVC • Full control available • Experts should be able to access all parameters of programs • High scalability • Run on a single machine or distribute the work to a cluster of 10000 machines
