3. Genesis 4:26 To Seth in turn a son was born whom he named Enosh, in whose time people began to call on the name of the Lord.

Hebrew has 4 principal words for “man/men”; • Ish = Strong’s 376 = Man, husband, person (Ishah=woman) speaks of gender. • Enosh = #582= Depraved or physically frail. “Men of renown” (always negative when used) • Geber = #1368 /1397 =Hero, a mighty man (no article) • Adam = #120 = With an article the man Adam, without an article, man in general or the origin of man referring to the first man Adam.

5. Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

6. Giants=Nephilim Strung#5303; means a tyrant, or bully. Literally means “fallen ones”.

7. Genesis 6:2 it developed that the sons of God took notice of the daughters of men, admired their looks and married all those of them whom they chose.

8. Son’s of God = Anything of a Devine creation. Adam is called this in Luke 3:38 So are born again believers; Romans 8:14

9. For this reason angels are called “sons of God”. In every other place where the expression is used in the Old Testament, it refers to angels. Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7, Psalms 29:1, 89:6 & Daniel 3:25

10. These “sons of God” or angels marry daughters of Adam and have sons who grew into giants/nephilim. Nephilim means “fallen ones”, therefore, these beings are identified as sons of fallen angels.

11. Further evidence of this can be seen from the Septuagint. 12. We know that there was a fall of the angels, that included the ring leader Satan form other Scripture. Jude 1:6 Then, too, the angels who did not maintain their own office but abandoned their proper dwelling, He has reserved in everlasting chains under densest darkness for the judgment of the great day.

13. 1 Peter 3:20 who (angels) were disobedient at the time when God’s patience was waiting while Noah was constructing an ark in which a few, in fact eight souls, were brought safely through the water.

16. The sole purpose of the flood was to eliminate these Enosh = “men of renown”= deprived fallen, mutant giants

17. Genesis 6:4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and later, too, when the sons of God used to cohabit with the daughters of men, who bore them children, those mighty men of old who made a name.

19. Genesis 12:6 Abram kept moving through the land as far as the Shechem locality, to the terebinth tree of Moreh—the Canaanite then living in the land.

20. The Canaanite people are named with the Giants/Nephilim; i.e. Kenites, Hittites, Jebusites, Anakin, Anak(where the name nephilim derived). Rephaim(these came Goliath & his brothers, & those with 6 fingers & toes)

21. The 10 of 12 spies sent into Canaan were discouraged because of Giants. They in turn discouraged the millions of Israelites not to enter the Promised Land

22. More recent examples of Giants on the earth after the flood;

28. 2 Samuel 21 In still another battle, which took place at Gath, there was a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot--twenty-four in all. He also was descended from Rapha. When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimeah, David's brother, killed him.

30. Question; • Why were there giants? • Why would the fallen angels want to produce these mutant giants? • Why before the flood and after? • Who is behind this?

31. Satan is forever trying to destroy the “seed” of the woman/Eve.The “seed” is the redeemer and the redeemed. We are the redeemed!

Genesis 6:7 The Lord said, I will wipe the human race I have created from the face of the earth, man and beast, reptile and birds of the air; for it is grief to Me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found favor in the presence of the Lord. 9 This is the Noah genealogy: Noah was an upright man, blameless among his fellow-men; Noah walked with God.

33. Blameless refers to Noah and his wife’s blood line. Not to there own righteousness. Blameless, or the KJV; “perfect” is the Hebrew word “tamim”. It is the technical word for bodily and physical perfection. Not mortal perfection. (#8549)

36. 2/17 All 8 enter the ark. God shuts door, rain, ark floats away-40 days. 3/27 Rain stops. The earth continues to flood-110 days. 7/17 Ark lands atop Mt. Ararat, waters stop-40 days 8/27 Waters begin to settle 25’ above mountains-34 days 10/1 Ark left on dry land, water settles, Noah waits- 40 11/11 Noah sends out raven, water settles, Noah waits 7 days 11/18 Noah sends out dove, it returns, water settles, Noah waits 7 days 11/25 Noah sends out dove again, dove brings back olive leaf, water settles, Noah waits 7 days 12/2 Noah sends out dove again, it doesn’t return, water settles, Noah waits 29 days 1/1 Noah removes covering, looks around, no water can be seen. Ground dries up, Noah waits 56 days 2/27 God opens the door, and says “Go forth” Noah’s Log Book 2348 BC

37. Total time in Ark = 370 days

38. 2 Peter 3:3 First of all you should understand that in the last days scoffers will come on the scene with their scoffing, behaving in accord with their own lusts, 4 and saying, “What about His promised coming? For ever since the forefathers fell asleep, everything has remained as it was from the beginning of creation.”

40. 2 Peter 3:5 They willfully ignore the fact that long ago there were heavens by the word of God, and an earth standing partly above and partly amidst water, 6 by means of which the then existing world was destroyed, deluged as it was by water.

42. 2 Peter 3:7 At present, however, the heavens and the earth are by the same word stored up for burning, and reserved for the day of judgment and the destruction of godless people. 8 But do not overlook this one fact, dear friends, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

Peter 3:9 The Lord is not negligent about His promise as some think of negligence; instead, He is exercising patience with you, unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. Then with a tremendous roar the heavens will pass away, the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works in it will be burned up.
