Maintenance Team Work Approach • Repair projects generated by requests for service (RFS) received from citizenry • RFS prioritized into 3 categories based on “Worst First” approach • Prioritization within Category is chronologically based • RFS must receive run off from city maintained street to qualify for repairs • Repairs performed on public and private properties

Maintenance Team Structure • Jurisdictional area divided into 8 watershed based work areas • Investigator responsible for entire jurisdiction to determine qualification and categorization of RFS • Drainage Specialist / Construction Inspector “teams” assigned to each work area • Drainage Specialists define repair solutions • Construction Inspectors monitor work done by private contractors
Maintenance Team 2007 Accomplishments • Total Program Budget - $ 9,300,000 • Completed 438 repair projects • Spent $7,137,573 on infrastructure improvements and repairs • Closed 837 request for service • Customer Service rating 4.64 out of 5 • Average cost per FY 07 RFS closed • High Priority - street/ living space flooding or public danger $16,000 • Medium Priority - damaged or deteriorated infrastructure $14,000 • Low Priority channel / stream repairs $6,000
