  2. My birth state • Slovakia is a state in middle Europe • Here are many interesting buildings • Today I will talk about castles in Slovakia

  3. Bratislava Castle

  4. Is the group of buildings in the historical area • In is situated in the MaléKarpaty near the river Dambr • The dominating building is the kings` palest which is a symbol of the Slovak Republic • It is an important memorial of social-historical development in this part of Slovakia

  5. Považský Castle

  6. it is situated in Trenčín region • on the right bank of thr river Váh • its area is 497 m about the sea level • it was built in the 13th century • there is a public entry • it is named Bystrica castle or Bistrizza too

  7. Trenčín Castle

  8. this castle is situated in Trenčín region just about to Trenčín town • it was build in the 10th century • there is a public entry, too • it is relatively extensive and reconstructed • it is site dominating not only for Trenčín, but for all middle Považie • it is a national cultureal and historical monument

  10. it is situated in Bratislava • on confluence of the rivers the Morava and the Dambr • it is 212 m about the sea level • there is a public entry, too • it is partly reconstructed • Devín Castle rock was in the year of 1985 proclaimed as a national natural monument • it is the major memorial of Slovak history • its important strategic location was known for the Kelts and the Romans • it has been known since the year 864 as Dowina
