Center Overview

The 21st Century Center for Research and Development in Cognition and Science Instruction aims to enhance middle school science curricula through systematic studies and modifications, leading to improved student learning outcomes. This project, funded by Grant R305C080009, provides unique insights into curriculum design principles and cognitive science research. Led by Principal Investigator Joseph Merlino, the Center works collaboratively with STEM education partners to create innovative educational tools and methods.
