Il costo dell'opera è di 497 milioni, suddivisi a metà fra Italia e Francia, contro i 409 previsti dal primo progetto. Se lo scavo con fresa è partito, è ancora in fase di approvazione il progetto per la connessione dell'A32 con il piazzale di imbocco del tunnel. • Il termine dei lavori, compresa l'attivazione impiantistica, è previsto sull'orizzonte del 2017.
