  3. Things We Need • “Safe distance” formula • -20 dB at ½ clock (Nyquist) • Things have improved since 1990… • -40 dB at ½ clock • Cable still better than this. • Our existing cable works to 6 GHz • Our existing connectors, too. • 12 GHz requires new designs • Add 20 years of improvements
