Leaky Balcony Treatment Guide - Remedial Membranes Leaky balcony treatment guide is a complete solution for applying Clear Waterproofing Membrane to your balcony. You don't have to remove the existing tiles to waterproof the balcony area. The leaky balcony treatment guide is divided into four below-mentioned parts:
Inventory Theitemsyoumayrequiretowaterproof thebalconyare;
Membrane Application Clear Waterproofing Membrane Part 1 and 2, Plastic Scraper, Paint Brush, Nap Roller, Paint Tray, Matching grout (if needed), Soudal joint adhesive, and applicable gun.
Cleaning Highpressurewatercleaner (gurney), Cleaningagent (Chlorineor HydrochloricAcid), PPE (Personal ProtectiveEquipment) including Vapourmask, waterproofpants, gloves, scrubbingbrushesonpoles.
Cleaning You need to clean the balcony before getting started, make sure the surface is properly cleaned because once the membrane is applied to the surface, how the surface looks, will remain permanently. Wet the entire surface and clean using the Gurney, make sure it has not dried then apply a diluted Water : Chlorine or Hydrochloric Acid in ratios that you feel comfortable using. We recommend a 1:1 ratio. Apply the cleaning agent to the surface, let it sit for a few minutes then scrub the surface and thoroughly wash the cleaning agent off several times. Ensuring it is sufficiently diluted for where the water will end up. If the surface has allot of mould we recommend the Chlorine otherwise Hydrochloric Acid is preferred. Once cleaned remove all the excess water.
