  2. WHERE? • UI Children’s Center • Supervisor : Angela • Teachers we assister: Amanda & Amber • Yellow Room (Ages: 2-3)

  3. Daily Schedule • Arrive when they are outside playing (this was the only chance we had to do our project) • Go inside for circle time, ex: holiday story, song cube • Wash up and serve lunch • Clean up lunch • Read books with kids going home • Help those staying to fall asleep on their mats

  4. Goals • We wanted to wait till we had observed their behavior and get a feel for their personalities before we did our project • Get input from teachers regarding successful ideas and ones that would benefit the kids and them • After observation our goal with our project was to get ALL of the children to participate in our project

  5. OBSTACLE COURSE Jump from dot to dot and either climb over bride or jump over it

Highlights • ALL OF THE KIDS PARTICIPATED AND SEEMED TO LOVE IT!!! • The few kids who were generally more difficult when it came to group activities joined in • The kids gave us feedback, when we all stood on our own dots and did action we would say what should we do next? And they would respond, jumping jacks, spin, jump like a frog
