COMPLETION OF COURSES • BY THE END OF 10TH GRADE: • Speech Communication • Personal Health BY THE END OF 12TH GRADE: • Art History • Performing Arts • Keyboarding
SCIENCE/LANGUAGE CREDITS • 3 YEARS OF SCIENCE -Begin no later than 10th grade -Summer School • 2 YEARS OF LANGUAGE -Encouraged to begin no later than 10th grade -Summer School
MATH AND LANGUAGE NO GAPS IN COURSEWORK EXAMPLE: Hawaiian 1 in 9TH grade; Hawaiian 2 in 10TH grade.

IMPORTANT DATES • Mon., Feb 1 KS Connect 4 Year Plan • Fri., Feb. 5: KS Connect opens for student registration @ 10:35 a.m. • Wed., Feb. 17 and Th., Feb. 18: Online registration for summer school *Begins Wed. @ 10:35 am / closes Th. 10:00 pm • Fri., Feb. 19: Final registration homeroom • Sat., Feb. 20: KS Connect registration closes to all Freshmen @ 3:00pm • All changes after Feb. 20 must go through your Counselor and must be completed by the end of April

Review Steps To Register Don’t forget to switch to “Entering Student – Grade 10” (header background turns green). Click on “Course Requests.”
Review Steps To Register • Rollover choices from your Four-Year Plan. • Review what was added. Note what was not.
Alternates Alternates need to be added to the “List of Alternates.” Two per request that requires alternates.
Mathematics For regular courses, add both semesters. Basic students will register for the regular courses.
Make Sure to Add Both P.E.s Just like last year, don’t forget to add both P.E. courses!
Papa Liuliu Requires a recommendation. Register for the course just like any other course request. (It’s a 0.00 credit course.) Found in (No Department).
Leaving Notes You can leave notes for the scheduler. Optional. Not guaranteed! Be professional.
Review Steps To Register Once everything turns green, finalize your choices (unless planning for Summer School). Your HR teacher can unlock should you need to make changes.
Summer School Registration Opens Wednesday, February 17 @ 10:35 AM Close Thursday, February 18 @ 10:00 PM You have THIRD PRIORITY! You or your parents can complete this. You are building your schedule! If you see it, you’ve got it!
Summer School Registration Verify Directory Information first. This will be available starting February 1. Don’t forget bus! Take out from your Course Requests what you got for Summer School.
