Aims – ‘Green’ Growth • To showcase demonstration homes that display and utilise a diverse range of available and experimental technologies to meet or exceed a range of sustainable criteria • To explore potential growth in green technologies and materials in the construction industry
Aims – Employment • To improve workforce supply, opportunities and productivity by providing training, employment and business development opportunities for professional and trade contractors in the ‘green’ construction sector • Support training through partnerships with TAFE Illawarra and education through the UoW by delivering opportunity for ongoing research and application of new technologies
Current site location: • NSW Land & Housing (LAHC) has conditionally offered land (Robert St, Corrimal) and funding toward the project

Next Steps • Reliant on additional partners to meet the total costs of the Project • EOI being developed to gain interest and secure invite to a ‘Green Street’ workshop • Gather concept proposals from potential partners • Tender process
