New COE Quota for bidding from May 2022 to July 2022 The LTA (Land Transport Authority) has announced the new bidding quota. The willing buyers can start their bid from 4 May onwards 2022. The quota reveals the following details on where the buyers can purchase vehicles in specific categories. The total number of the vehicle they can opt for is 11,951 MONTHLY COE QUOTA FOR MAY 2022 TO JUL 2022 VEHICLE CATEGORY maximum power output not exceeding 97kW) 97kW) Total Quota for May 2022 to Jul 2022 Bidding Exercises The car owner who was willing to sell a used car has de-registered their vehicle. The total de-registration as per Jan 2022 to Mar 2022 quota is 13,210 The introduction of electric vehicles is encouragement and addition to the Ministry of Transport Committee of Supply 2022. The cars with 97kw are revised to 110kw and will add to CATEGORY A. The vehicle growth rate is 0% for CATEGORY A, B, and D. For CATEGORY C, it will remain at 0.25%. The COE for the new taxi registration is revised, and the addition of 649 in number is to CATEGORY E. In the Early Turnover Scheme from Jan to Mar2022, 1712 vehicles were registered. The announcement for the next bidding is on July 2022, from August 2022 to October 2022.
