Investigate which electronic device in your room consumes the most time to save energy. Hypothesize, experiment, and record results for efficient energy usage.
E N D
Question, Hypothesis, and variables • Question: Which electronic device in my room uses the most time • Reason for Investigation: The reason I am doing this investigation/experiment is to know which device uses the most time and to decrease the time I use it to save energy. • Hypothesis: My hypothesis is that my AC uses the most time because I use it when I sleep. • Independent Variable: The time I turn on and off the electronic • Dependent Variable: The time of the electronic • Control Variable: Turning each of the electronics at the time I usually turn them on
Method • Materials: Pen, paper, clock/watch, and camera • Procedure: • 1. I first check all the electronics in my room and check the time I turned them on • 2. I then record the time I use each of the electronics • 3. I write them down and find the result
Result & conclusion • Result: The AC uses the most amount of time. I turn on the • AC from noon to morning. • Conclusion: My hypothesis is correct. The reason my hypothesis was correct was because I turn on the AC for 840 minutes.
Evaluation • Evaluation: • Strength: My method is very simple and easy to follow • Weakness: My method is not very specific • Improvement: I could have improved my method by making it more specific. By counting the exact minute, hour, and second.
