  2. Timeline Review • Phase I: Development and Education • February 2012 - June 2012 • Phase II: Foundation • July 2012 - December 2012 • Phase III: Implementation of QuIP • January 2013 2

  3. Enrollment • Complete Enrollment Form that will be available online • Submit Quality Plan • Due by 10-31-12 • Email Enrollment Form and Quality Plan to: • marylandproviderrealtions@ • valueoptions.com • or fax to: 410-691-4001 3

  4. Quality Plan • Develop a Quality Plan that includes discussion on: • Increasing community tenure • Ensuring appropriate access to community based crisis intervention services 4

  5. Quality Plan (cont’d) • Ensuring that all applicable OMS questions are answered fully • Ensuring optimum consumer engagement in outpatient treatment 5

  6. Value Intensive Program • Engage program eligible consumers in effective and appropriate Outpatient Services • VIP consumers will be asked to select one OMS Provider to be the lead in coordinating their care 6

  7. Value Intensive Program (cont’d) • Provider offers case management services, or • Makes case management services available through another provider organization 7

  8. Foundation Phase • Develop and test Quality Plan • Use of clinic Inpatient census report • Use of Emergency Room Visit report • Adjust office practice to affect results 8

  9. What’s Next? • Financial targets still being developed • Details of incentive payment discussions ongoing • January 2013 to June 2013; then based on fiscal year • Program pending DHMH approval 9
