  4. Our requirement for better MI • Antilo launched in 2015 • Required to produce monthly MI pack to our Capacity provider. • Antilo selected a respected software house, not cheap but hopefully efficient. • The Software House fails to produce promised reports. • Antilo has no choice but to allocate valuable Underwriting resource into producing these reports, to maintain our reporting requirements.

  5. Our requirement for better MI • Software house MI system: • Crashed often • MI could become corrupted • Difficult to trace errors • Data not scalable in excel • Too many manual processes • Time consuming • Use formulas to join the data • Failed to deliver consistency • Downtime effects GWP • Error reporting created other errors • Capacity provider • Very patient • Have a need for reliable MI

  6. Our requirement for better MI • Although, the manual reports delivered the information we and our Capacity provider required in the short term… • This was not sustainable… • We needed someone to step in…

  7. How did EiB analytics help us solve the problem? • EiB stepped in to take over our reporting function: • EiB had factfinding meeting to establish needs • Not just a 9 – 5, when the need arose • Communicated every step of the way • EiB provided accurate monthly capacity provider reports • We could now: • View our KPI’s on a daily basis • “Slice and Dice” the data in numerous ways • Produce and save ad hoc reports, to interrogate data and trends.

  8. MI PartnershipWorking With EiB • EiB brought: • Knowledge and Experience • Delivered in line with project • Breath of Fresh Air • “Can do” attitude • Adapted the “at all costs” delivery ethos

  9. MI PartnershipWorking With EiB • Example Report • KPI N.B. Not live data (example only)

  10. MI PartnershipWorking With EiB • Example Report • Monthly Triangulations N.B. Not live data (example only)

  11. MI PartnershipWorking With EiB • Example Report • Business written by Month N.B. Not live data (example only)

  12. EIB Analytics Benefits • If we had EiB Analytics from day one… • We would have saved between 12 and 18 months of underwriting resource. • Antilo would have been able to concentrate on current and future products. • Left underwriters to underwrite!

  13. EiB Analytics 2018 • Antilo are currently in the process of upgrading to the EiB Analytics 2018… • We always want to be at the forefront of MI, which this allows us… • We will obtain advanced and meaningful reports, which we welcome…
