Objective: SWBAT describe how a person’s appropriate personal characteristics (age, height, and race) could be determined by examining his or her bones. (same as yesterday) DO NOW: • 1. How can skeletal remains be useful in a forensic investigation? • 2. How can you identify sex, race, and age by looking at a skull? • 3. Name the 4 layers of a bone and each of its function. • 4. Write your height in inches on the paper yellow paper in the front of the class. (Ex. 5’4’’ 5’ x 12 = 60 +4” = total 64 inches
