  3. PDP – Mentor Access Your administrator must first designate you as the mentor by entering your name on your mentee’s PDP. Only an administrator can designate a mentor by clicking on the Select Mentor Name drop-down field.

  4. PDP – Mentor Access • To access your mentee’s PDP: • Click on More… • Then click on Rubric for Observing Teachers • This will take you to the Rubric for Observing screen.

  5. PDP – Mentor Access At the Rubric for Observing screen, you will see the names of the beginning teachers that you have been assigned to mentor. If your mentee is not listed, contact your administrator to be sure that s/he has entered your name as the mentor on your mentee’s PDP. Click on your mentee’s PDP to access it.

  6. PDP – Mentor Review • You do not have the ability to enter or edit data on a mentee’s PDP. Consult with your mentee to be sure that s/he has entered “smart” goals. Be sure each row addresses a single goal. For each goal the mentee should complete: • Activities/Actions • Expected Outcomes and Evidence of Completion • Resources Needed • Timeline

  7. PDP – Mentor Authentication You must authenticate that you have reviewed the plan with your mentee before the mentee meets with the administrator. Click on the Mentor’s Signature box. A pop-up will require you to enter your personal password. Click on Authenticate.

  8. PDP – Mentor Mid and End of Year Review Click on the Mid-Year Review or End-of-Year Review tab to view your mentee’s draft descriptors of evidences toward meeting the goals.

  9. PDP – Mentor Mid and End of Year Review Review your mentee’s draft Evidence of Progress Toward Specific Standards of Elements to be Addressed/Enhanced in Section C of the Mid-Year and Section E of the End-of-Year pages. You are not able to edit your mentee’s work.

  10. PDP – Mentor Enters Comments You must review and enter comments PRIOR to the teacher’s administrator conference.
