Smaller projects • With landscape architects, we have been looking at how to improve the spaces between the major development sites - temporarily, short-term and long-term. • This work will have two main outcomes: - an exemplar project or projects - a document that can be used for bidding for funding or to direct developer contributions. Moving forward • The market exploration exercise has demonstrated that there is a high level of interest in Catford. • The steps the Council has taken to date (purchasing the shopping centre, refurbishing Catford Broadway) have helped to further stimulate that interest. • Officers will continue to progress different initiatives alongside the overall transformation/ redevelopment plans.
