  2. ESTP: what and for whom? • The ESTP raises the quality of European statistics through international training courses • The Programme is managed by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP) 2011

ESTP: what and for whom? • The programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of the European Statistical System (ESS) • The ESTP complements national training schemes and meets the challenges of comparable statistics at European and international level European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP) 2011

ESTP: what and for whom? • Courses are organised and delivered • at Eurostat • by Eurostat • at national training sites of EU and EFTA countries • by Contractors, often in cooperation with National Statistical Institutes (NSIs) • by EFTA through EFTA NSIs European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP) 2011

  5. ESTP: Programme coverage • based on training needs expressed by European NSIs and Eurostat • in fields like data collection, survey methodology, economic and social statistics, data analysis, quality, dissemination and publication, etc. European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP) 2011
