  6. Our results • Comparison data: • Typical ENGL 0090 pass rate: 62- 67 % • Typical ENGL 1021 pass rate: 68-71% • ENGL 0090 students overall success rate in 1021: 35-50% • Express English initial results (n=161) • ENGL 0090 pass rate: 74.5% • ENGL 1021 pass rate: 61.5%

Let’s hear from the students (n=95) • Overall, how satisfied are you with Express English? • Very satisfied 72.3% • Somewhat satisfied 12.8% • Mixed feelings 11.7% • “I’m glad I took Express English” • Strongly agree 76.6% • Agree 17.0% • “Taking Express English made it more likely that I will take additional classes at Century College” • Strongly agree 53.3% • Agree 32.6%
