Project Description • Support Legislative requirement (SB408) • Develop automation programs that will implement an efficient business process to determine and document legal status of accesses. • Develop plan to integrate, maintain and ability to report new and existing data into CHAMPS and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). • Data currently resides in separate databases: • CHAMPS, UPermit, and GIS database.

  4. Financial Status - April 30, 2013 Initial Project Budget = $70,000 Actuals (to date) = $24,650 Remaining (to date) = $45,350 Requested $80k increase; total project budget of $150k. Contract developer, DBA and overhead staff

  5. Project Status Project resources in place and committed. • In Process - Data model work for staging layer and CHAMPS changes. • End of May - e.t.a. completion of OPAL excel to relational database and QA tool. • Early June - GIS schedule finalized. • June 14 - Deadline for all regions to finish Access inventory; necessary before GIS work can start. • PowerBuilder developer focus on new OPAL application to decommission and replace current OPAL excel. • New OPAL application will be part of current CHAMPS application.

  6. Final Product: Will. . . improve overall quality of Access data; bring all Access Management under one umbrella application; and, integrate various databases/spreadsheets: GIS Access Inventory Upermits OPAL CHAMPS . . . to 1 version of the Truth!
