  2. Albert’s Biography 16 year old Albert Pujols and his family moved to the US to look for a better life. He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Pujolsmarried Deidre his wife on January 1, 2000. They have four children, Albert Jr., Isabella, Ezra, and Sophia. They moved to Independence, Missouri.Pujolsstarted playing baseball since he was 3 years old growing up in the DominicanRupublic. Albert era muypobre.   3. Achievement 1 Albert Pujols received two World Series rings. He won three National League MVP awards.Also, signed a contract to be traded to the Angel’s. Also, set MLB records of most Player of the Month awards, most extra-base hits, and assists by a baseman. In 2003, he won the prestigious Hank Aaron award and that in that same year he won another recognition as the TSN Player of the Year. One of the most significant year was 2004 when Albert was named the NLCS MVP. In 2005 Pujolswas acknowledged with 4 All Star wins in the season of 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005.Pujols also won the Silver Slugger award in 2001, 2004 and another in 2004 for three different positions, which were first base, third base, and outfield.
