  3. ¿ PERO REALMENTE SEGUIMOS LOS VALORES CRISTIANOS? ¿ HEMOS OLVIDADO NUESTRAS RAÍCES? • Guerras • Pobreza y hambre • Racismo • Explotación y abusos

  4. LOS PILARES DE OCCIDENTE: • CRISTIANISMO GRECIA ROMA

  5. EL CRISTIANISMO • Procede de Jesucristo: Jesús predica sus ideales y extiende su palabra a todo fin humano. • Inculca valores tales como: Amor, libertad, justicia, dignidad humana, tolerancia, solidaridad, humildad…

  6. FUNDAMENTOS • Dios único y santo. • Amor al prójimo • Uso de la fe cristiana para dar sentido a la vida de los hombres. • El libre albedrío. - El cristianismo también hereda algunos pensamientos judaicos, como la intolerancia, el fariseísmo o la noción unívoca y restringida de la verdad ( “Fuera de la Iglesia no hay salvación.”)

  12. Aceptamos la diversidad, pero renegamos y nos avergonzamos de nuestras raíces.

  14. A LA VEZ QUE RECHAZAMOS INJURIAS CONTRA OTRAS INSTITUCIONES, PERMITIMOS OFENSAS GRAVES A LA RELIGIÓN Y A LOS CREYENTES

  15. Aprendamos de nuestro pasado • Razón • Humildad • Bien social

  16. Encaremos el futuro • Es nuestra responsabilidad como cristianos afrontar las adversidades, no permitir que la sociedad degenere, siendo críticos incluso con nuestra cultura siempre para mejorar y resolver los grandes problemas de la humanidad.

  17. conclusión Terminaremos nuestra exposición con unas palabras de Amin Maalouf: “La situación actual es paradójica y puede que nos equivoquemos al interpretarla. Los principales conflictos a los que nos enfrentamos no son ya ideológicos, sino identitarios. El planeta nunca ha sido tan pequeño, y sin embargo nunca han sido tan enconadas las relaciones entre Oriente y Occidente, entre Islam y Cristianismo. Se impone un nuevo humanismo, una forma distinta de pensar que nos permita integrar y entender en lugar de dividir y enfrentar… y hay atisbos de esperanza”
