  4. 10° Convegno SIDI - Nuove acquisizioni in materia di Ippologia - Druento, 31 ottobre 2008 Important datesforASINO di MARTINA FRANCA • From 1926the Istituto Regionale di Incremento Ippico has been responsible of its breeding, defense, and valorization. • After second world war: beginning of the numerical decline of the population. • 1985: ecological park for the in vivo conservation of the breed (in “Russoli” farm, in agro Crispiano). • 1990: trend towards growing number of the population
