  3. But if you wanted to combine data from other universes you’d have to insert the data from those universes into a single report Combining data from different BOA universes

There are downsides • There is a greater dependence on variables • The report is not a true combination, but a co-habitation of data • Manipulating data using the co-habited data is harder • You really have to pay attention to what you’re doing… this is not for the inexperienced • Other than these caveats… this is a neat feature Combining data from different BOA universes

  6. The report dialog box opens but there are other options Combining data from different BOA universes

  7. The universe selections begin as they normally do Combining data from different BOA universes

  8. Select the other universes you want to get data from Combining data from different BOA universes

  9. After selecting the Local National Universe the data classes open normally Combining data from different BOA universes

  10. Select your fields and conditions and as you normally would Then run the query Combining data from different BOA universes

  14. Creating a new report tab and creating the report in the new tab shows only the NAF data Combining data from different BOA universes

  16. If you want to edit the data provider This box opens and asks which query you want to edit…. Because we opened three universes, there are three queries Combining data from different BOA universes

  17. By selecting “query 1” that has the AF data classes, the AF universe opens and you can edit the query normally Combining data from different BOA universes
