COMET Time Lines • COMET Guides are under development to support support January 1, 2004 Competitive Metering date. • Approval time is as follows to achieve January 2004. • COMET distributes Guides by October 10, 2003 DONE • Comments due to COMET by October 23, 2003 DONE • COMET discusses/resolves comments by October 29, 2003 DONE • COMET issues second draft of Guides by October 31, 2003 DONE • RMS approves COMET Guide November 13, 2003 DONE • TAC approves on December 4, 2003 TODAY • ERCOT Board receives approved Guides on December 16, 2003 • Competitive Metering for commercial customers for meter ownership effective January 1, 2004.

2004 Market Test Motion • RMS recommends the elimination of Flight V1.6 – 0304 and further recommend the Market Testing Flight Schedules for Flights V1.6-0104, Version 2.0 (0504) and V2.0-0904 as adopted by RMS. • TAC further directs RMS that any material changes to these timelines or changes in scope of the test flights must be approved by TAC.
RMS Organization • RMS has 5 Working Groups and at times, has had 5 more Task Forces studying market issues. • RMS has had the same Working Group organizational structure for the past three years. • RMS will begin discussing criteria to launch task forces, validating task forces’ scopes and any potential changes to our Working Groups.
