TALPA ARC Mission • Industry response to SWA accident at MDW • August 2006 SAFO 0612 (15% penalty) • TALPA ARC formed February 2008 • Standardize condition reporting • ICAO good/medium/poor/nil (move away from mu value reporting) • Report for first arrival, then pilot braking reports used for subsequent arrivals • Procedures to be published in AIM • Procedures to be published in a/c flight ops manuals • AC 150/5200-30 (Winter Operations) revision
