Meeting overview– March 2010 Hosted by ARNES, Slovenia Co-located with GEANT PR Network meeting: Day 1: GEANT PR Day 2: TF-CPR Day 3: TF-CPR (half day) Main format and topic areas: trainingon particular relevant topics: Adobe Connect, TF-Media, TF-CPR Repository workshopsin break-out groups for brainstorming: using social media to reach/interact with NREN target audience, eduID as a common brand for federation log-in, improvements to PeaR (community news service) workshops for exchanging knowledge/tools: national campaigns for safer internet

Meeting outcomes – March 2010 Launched TF-CPR Repository Place to store NREN Marketing tools in order to facilitate sharing Organised by topic area (eduroam, security, etc) Integrated with GEANT PSP work so one place for all community marketing tools Wiki space for discussion areas Launched new version of PeaR Community News New format allows for more information, for example community events New design is more visual (logos, etc), to improve readability Created joint NREN marketing plan to increase distribution. Plan to be executed by participating NRENs in Q2/Q3/Q4 2010

Meeting outcomes – March 2010 Agreement to work more closely with TF-Media in the future due to common synergies Fall 2010 TF-CPR meeting will be partially joint meeting with TF-Media in Norway, October 2010 Beforehand, will identify possible common work areas (likely to evolve over time) Conducted TF-CPR ‘satisfaction survey’ to provide input to TERENA for ensuring relevant and productive topic areas and format in future task force meetings

Meeting overview – June 2010 Located at TNC 2010 Partially joint meeting with TF-MSP Day 1 TF-CPR (half day) Day 2 TF-CPR + TF-MSP joint meeting (half day) Main format and topic areas: presentation: results of TF-CPR Compendium workshopsin break-out groups for brainstorming: “Pimp my videoconference” – an exercise to create a marketing plan for videoconferencing services. TF-CPR Compendium: - how can we use the information collected to collaborate more/better amongst ourselves? Joint meeting: “Commoditization and Cloud Services” – are NREN services becoming commodities? What evidence is there to support/reject ideas?

Meeting outcomes – June 2010 Agreement to use input from joint workshop on commoditization to Learn more about the topic area and as it applies to your country Create better ‘customised’ communications with target audience Since TF-CPR Compendium measured specific topic areas where NRENs want to collaborate on together…. Agreement to tailor future meetings according to prioritized focus areas as indicated in TF-CPR Compendiums Will use future meetings to create/brainstorm input for more ‘collective’ marketing campaigns. Subject Matter Experts will be invited to ensure we are staying on message.
