IP Communications • Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-based VoIP • SIP registrar for IP communication endpoints, such as IP telephones • Native Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) processing • VoIP codecs: Opus, G.711

Security • Communications between PureCloud Edge and the PureCloud service are encrypted and secure through TLS with mutual authentication • Voice calls are, by default, encrypted through the SRTP protocol • SIP signaling, by default, is protected through the TLS protocol • Dynamic transcription of VoIP communications when different encryptions are used by both parties
