    Providing service to the Fleet and beyond…

    2. You ask…what do we do?

    FLEET SUPPORT US EMBASSY SINGAPORE MILITARY SEALIFT REGIONAL SUPPORT

    3. COMMAND/PERSONNEL SERVED:

    We currently provide service to over 480 active duty personnel and dependents attached to 18 tenant commands including civilian contractors and 20 retirees. Department of State - We provide support to over 470 personnel assigned to the U.S. Embassy Singapore. In addition to mail support, we provide training and supplies to including postal equipment, postage stamps, e.t.c.

    4. FLEET SUPPORT

    For FY 07 we have provided support to 92 ships including 2 CSG and 3 ESG visiting Singapore to include COD and VOD support. We also provided support for 29 ship visits to the following ports in Malaysia: Port Kelang, Langkawi, Kenaman, Penang, and Kuching. Also worked directly with State Department to get mail delivered to 5 ships visiting Brunei. PROVIDING UNLIMITED SERVICES TO CSG’S, ESG’S, AND MSC VESSELS IN SUPPORT OF VARIOUS EXCERISES AND MISSIONS.

    5. MSC Support

    Singapore has become home to Headquarters MSC Far East. FY-07 saw 79 MSC ship visits in Singapore Supported 7 Strike Groups with support from MSC assets.
