EDGAR REGRESA A CASA EDGAR REGRESA A CASA DESPUES DE ABANDONAR SU TRABAJO Y AHÍ EN BOSTON FUE DONDE PUBLICO SU PRIMER LIBRO, TAMERLÁR Y OTROS POEMAS (1827) PERMANICIO EN EL EJERCITO DURANTE 2 AÑOS. EN 1829 LANZO SU SEGUNDO LIBRO DE POEMAS, AL AARAF , SE PERDONO CON SU PADRE Y LO CONSIGUIO UN CARGO EN LA ACADEMIA MILITAR, PERO EXPULSADO POR SU NEGLIGENCIA EN EL DEBER Y SU PADRE LO REPUDIO PARA SIEMPRE.

  5. AL AÑO SIGUIENTE… PUBLICO SU TERCER LIBRO, POEMAS (1831), VIAJA A BALTIMORE DONDE VIVIO CON SU TIA Y SU SOBRINA DE 11 AÑOS VIRGINIA CLEMM. SU OBRA POETICA REFLEJA LA INFLUENCIA DE POETAS INGLESES COMO MILTON SHELLEY. EN 1832 SU CUENTO “MANUSCRITO ENCONTRADO EN UNA BOTELLA” GANO EL CONCURSO PATROCINADO POR BALTIMORE SATURDAY . DE 1835 A 1837 FUE REDACTOR .

  6. EN 1836.. SE CASA CON SU SOBRINA Y DURANTE LA DECADA SIGUIENTE TRABAJO COMO REDACTOR PARA VARIAS REVISTAS DE FILADELFIA Y NUEVA YORK. ESCRIBIÓ: -EL CUERVO 1845 -LAS CAMPANAS 1849 -EL DURMIENTE 1831 -LENORE 1831 -ANNABEL LEEE 1849 UNO DE US RELATOS MAS FAMOSOS ES “EL ESCARABAJO DE ORO” EN 1843

  7. COMO FUE SU MUERTE EN EL AÑO 1847 FALLECIO SU MUJER Y EL MISMO CAYO EN LA ENFERMO; SU ADICCION AL ALCOHOOL Y SU CONSUMO DE DROGAS PROVOCARON SU TEMPRANA MUERTE EN BALTIMORE , EL 7 DE OCTUBRE DE 1849.
