14. What to Expect After Applying IRS Personnel will evaluate qualifications.
Applicants will receive notice of results and qualified applicants will be placed on a time-limited roster of eligibility.
IRS correspondence will be sent via letter or email.
Fingerprinting/Personal Identity Verification sessions will be scheduled for all candidates. Candidates should bring documents requested

Process offers more direct approach –but applicants should also apply online for other possibilities.
