  1. Unified Land Development Code AmendmentTime Extension for Model Homes

  2. REQUEST • Flagler Home Builders Association requesting modification to extend time frame residential units can be used as models. • Justification is current housing market precludes capital outlay for new units; more cost effective to refresh interiors.

  3. Ordinance Change Community Development Department • Extends use from five years to seven years from the date the Certificate of Occupancy is issued. • Clarifies that garage must function as such prior to sale.

  4. Examples - 4 Ponce de Leon Dr. 3 Pritchard Ln. 2 Emerson Dr.

  5. Recommendation PLDRB recommend that City Council approve time extension for model homes.
