Sign Code Changes – Ch. 407, Art. 3 • Complete reorganization • Removed Master Signage Plan Concept • Allow incentives by right in mixed-use PDs, TNDs and properties with Activity Center Master Plans • Removal of exception for electronic time and temperature displays
Sign Code Changes – Ch. 407, Art. 3 • Additional change needed: • Clarification on signs allowed for open air institutional uses in Ag or Residential Districts • Parks • Preservation Areas • Ball Fields
Use Regulation Changes – Ch. 404 • Several corrections and clarifications in Use Table • Revision of requirements for security quarters • Distinction between classes for land application of biosolids • Allowance for public fairground in industrial area
Subdivision Regulations – 404.73 • Allowance for one split of old government lots or platted lots recorded prior to June 1, 1960 • Must meet road frontage requirements • Must be memorialized by document recorded in public record • Not subject to replatting requirements
Other Changes • Development plan extension – 402.47.5 • Clarification of setbacks in RM district – Table 403.22.1 • Correction to Private Well and Septic Standards – Table 407.110.1
Recommendation • Approve recommended changes to the Unified Land Development Code and direct staff to proceed with the second and final adoption hearing. • Alternative: Direct staff to make changes to the proposed recommendation and proceed with the second and final adoption hearing.
