  2. SHMI activities in the project • Activity A – Standardisation of Reporting Processes • Activity C – Establishing a shared information system and facilitate training and procurement of IT equipment • Activity D – Air pollution and data processing support for the Slovak Republic

Activity A – Implementation the software tools for reporting at SHMI • All ozone reports, required by EC/EEA • Elaborate utility for generating DEM file for selected components and stations for required average time • Implement software for calculation wind and concentrations roses • Install software for submission of 1 hour ozone data from Slovakia to the EEA ozone web side

  7. AQ DEM TOOL Generates DEM format files for selected component, stations and time period, which will be imported to DEM module – (EoI Decision 97/101/EC) Yearly submission of Slovak AQ data to EC/EEA

  8. Wind and concentration roses • Program performs calculations of: • Wing roses from external and internal automatic anemometers • Concentration roses for specified pollutants

  10. Wind and concentration roses – data form Numerical output enables to combine different concentration roses in one picture as well as to present only wind direction.

  11. Activity D – Air pollution and data processing support for the Slovak Republic • Technical specification BTX analysers and HiVol samplers • Participation in tendering • Delivering and installation equipments in NAQMN
