  2. Information About The Sales Tracker The Sales Tracker is: • a meaningful way of presenting a sales report • very time efficient • easy to read and very understandable

  3. Information About The Tracker And How It Was Made • The Sales Tracker is a means of showing the sales that the store accumulated over a period of time • The Sales Tracker is made for the manager of the XYZ Grocery store • To make the Sales Tracker we employed the resources of Microsoft Excel

  4. Background Information About Target Person • XYZ Grocery is a chain that currently operates in the Southeast • Clint King is the manager of an XYZ Grocery store • He must be able to provide sales information to the district manager upon request

  5. Target Person • Clint King, store manager at XYZ Grocery • His responsibilities are: • tracking department performances • overall store performance • reporting to district manager

  6. What The Sales Tracker Does For The Target Person • Currently the manager does not have an efficient way of presenting information to the district manager • The Sales Tracker is an organized and easy to use worksheet that will simplify his current workload

  7. How The Sales Tracker Was Created • We collected sales figures from each department in the store • Then we inserted the data into an Excel worksheet and calculated the weekly and quarterly sales using the AutoSum function • With Excel we created charts and graphs which better represents the data in the Sales Tracker

  8. More Information Provided By The Sales Tracker • We created three different types of charts with Excel • this chart shows the relative sales of each department for the first quarter

  9. Quarterly Sales Comparisons • With this chart we compared the sales from the first quarter to the second quarter • this allows the manager to evaluate the departments

  10. In Conclusion The Sales Tracker provides Clint King, the store manager, a quicker and easier way to track the stores performance through: • readily presentable material • organized tables • colorful charts and graphs

  11. Benefits • Well organized • Very time efficient • Completely accurate • Cost effective
