IB Learner Profile Nature of the IB learner profile • The IB learner profile is the IB mission statement translated into a set of learning outcomes for the 21st century. • The attributes of the profile express the values inherent to the IB international education and, therefore, the culture and ethos of all IB World Schools. • The learner profile provides a long-term vision of education. It is a set of ideals that can inspire, motivate and focus the work of schools and teachers, uniting them in a common purpose.
IB Learners strive to be: • Inquirers • Knowledgeable • Thinkers • Communicators • Principled • Open-minded • Caring • Risk-takers • Balanced • Reflective
IB Honor Code • Students in the Pre-Diploma or IB program at Palm Harbor University High School are expected to maintain the highest standard of academic and personal integrity. Integrity includes honesty, trustworthiness and reliability. Every student has the right to pursue an education free from the problems caused by any form of intellectual dishonesty.
IB Honor Code • This Honor Code is intended to clearly communicate the expectations of membership in the IB Program. Violation of the Code will be handled in accordance with the discipline policy of Palm Harbor University High School since infractions compromise the integrity of the school and the IB program. Violations will also result in disciplinary or academic probation and ultimately may cause a student to be removed from the program.
AGREED????? I understand the expectations for students who have the privilege of being in membership in the IB Program and agree to comply with the Honor Code. I understand the definition and consequences of malpractice.
