  2. What Jesus thinks of the church… • So far, we’ve considered the churches of • Ephesus (Rev. 2:1-7) • Smyrna (Rev. 2:8-11) • Pergamum (Rev. 2:12-17) • Thyatira (Rev. 2:18-29). • Today, we will continue in our study by looking to the message sent to the church in Sardis.

  3. What Does Jesus Think of the Church? (Revelation 3:1-6) • Salutation; Self-Designation (3:1a) • Condemnation (3:1b-2) • (No Commendation for this church) • Warnings and Promises(3:3-5) • Exhortation (3:6)

  4. Let the one with an ear, listen! • The One Who is in control knows your works… • Wake up! Strengthen what remains! • Remember what you’ve received, keep it, and repent; • If you do not, the Lord will come upon you as a thief! • Some have not soiled their garments - they will walk with the Lord! • What remains are not blotted out - the Lord will confess them before the Father!
