Search Observations • Both databases: satisfactory job finding print items. • Both lists included items from various perspectives. • Overlap considerable but not overwhelming. • GBIP didn’t have any digital items. • Neither database returned audio books. • GBIP had many duplicate items due to binding differences with no clear way to eliminate them.
Currency • Currency was a wash with both databases returning several items with 2010 publication dates. • Retrospective coverage was substantially greater in Amazon with items dating back to 1993.
