  3. Saint Patrick Saint Patrick (died March 17?, 493) is the patron saint of Ireland, along with Saint Brigid and Saint Columba. He was born somewhere along the west coast of Great Britain in the little settlement or village of Bannavem of Taburnia (vico banavem taburniae in his Confessio), which has never been identified with certainty.

  4. Geography The centrepiece of Northern Ireland's geography is Lough Neagh, at 151 mi² (392 km²) the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles. A second extensive lake system is centred on Lower and Upper Lough Erne in Fermanagh.

  5. Climat The whole across the region. The weather is unpredictable at all times of the year, and although the seasons are distinct, they are considerably less pronounced than in interior Europe or the eastern seaboard of North America. The damp climate and extensive deforestation in the 16th and 17th centuries resulted in much of the region being covered in rich green grassland.   8. Geography Northern Ireland is bound to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the northeast by the North Channel. To the east is found the Irish Sea which reconnects to the ocean via the southwest with St. George's Channel and the Celtic Sea President of Ireland

  9. Climat The local temperate climate is modified by the North Atlantic Current and is relatively mild. Summers are rarely very hot, but freezes Only occasionallyin winter. Precipitation is very common, with up to 275 days with rain in some parts of the country.   11. The Corrs The Corrs are a folk rock band from Ireland, consisting of three sisters and one brother from the Corr family, who rose to prominence in the late 1990s.

U2 U2 is an Irish rock band featuring Bono (Paul David Hewson) on vocals, guitar and harmonica, The Edge (David Howell Evans) on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Adam Clayton on bass, and Larry Mullen, Jr. on drums. U2 is regarded by many critics as the biggest rock band in the world and has been so since the 1980s. According to the RIAA, they have sold approximately 50.5 million albums in the U.S. and over 150 million worldwide, had six #1 albums in the US and nine #1 albums in UK and are widely considered one of the most successful groups of all time
