Definitions • LSE • Load Star Enhanced file format used for movement of AMS usage data for both TDSPs to ERCOT and TDSPs to SMT. • LSE AMS ESIID Usage Data Header Record: • Each ESIID has 5 header records of master information including ESIID, Channel, REP DUNS, TDSP DUNS, etc. • LSE AMS ESIID Usage Data Detail Record(s): • Each ESIID has 24 detail records. Each detail record contains 4 AMS usage 15 minute intervals. Thus equaling 96 interval reads. The detail record also contains status indicating estimate or actual. • LSE AMS ESIID Usage Data Set: • One ESIID including its 5 header records with channel, start time and end time and 24 detail records • The SMT Validation Rules are Applied to the SMT Database and not to the SMT FTPS
SMT AMS Data Validation Rules • First validate all header records exist and unduplicated • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Second validate detail records exist and unduplicated • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Third validate each header record contains all of the required fields • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Fourth validate header fields are syntax correct • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation
SMT AMS Data Validation Rules • Fifth validate ESIID (valid ESIID that exists in the SMT database populated from TDSP sync files) • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Sixth validate TDSP is owner of ESIID • Fails – Move to next validation and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Seventh validate REP DUNS (REP DUNS matches SMT database ROR (either current or past) populated from TDSP sync files) • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Eighth validate meter is energized and meter is active • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation • Ninth validate interval data (field values match expected LSE format) • Fails – Reject entire ESIID LSE AMS usage data set and send error message to TDSP • Passes – Move to next validation
Sync Files • I-Sync File • Incremental sync file. • Received daily from all TDSPs. • Contains only the population of ESIIDs that have changes. • F-Sync File • Full sync file. • Received weekly from Oncor on Sundays. • Contains the entire population of ESIIDs for Oncor. • Sync File Contents • Master Premise – Contains new ESIIDs or updates to existing ESIIDs customer information. • ROR Update – Contains the changing relationship between ESIIDs and ROR • Master Meter – Contains new meter information. • Monthly Billed – Contains monthly billed usage • Use of Sync Files • Update master information for ESIIDS, RORs and Meters on SMT.
