However, vaping whilst driving can lead to hefty fines and potential prosecution as a result of driving carelessly. Performing another task whist driving can be very dangerous and the clouds of smoke created from vape pens can increase the risk of an accident. Punishments for driving dangerously include fines of as much as £2500 to between three and nine points on your driving license. In some instances, the driver could be disqualified from driving altogether. Vaping and Driving Guidelines It is advisable to avoiding vaping whilst at the wheel. Vaping may not seem as distracting as checking a phone, but it could potentially cause accidents. If you want to vape whilst on the road, the best course of action is to pull over for a quick break rather than putting yourself and others at risk. What’s more, the risk of being fined, prosecuted or disqualified from driving is not worth it.
