Beliefs. This is how Cologne Cathedral usually looks at night. Beliefs. Due to a rise in numbers of people marching in Germany against immigration and Islam the Cathedral in Cologne turned off its lights. This wasn’t the only famous public building to do this.

  2. Beliefs Due to a rise in numbers of people marching in Germany against immigration and Islam the Cathedral in Cologne turned off its lights. This wasn’t the only famous public building to do this. The idea is that the marchers can’t use famous places as a backdrop. Does anyone know why the lights are out?

  6. By law you can be any religion you like, you can change faith, or you can be agnostic or atheist. It’s against the law to treat people differently because of their beliefs. The Equality Act protects people from discrimination because of religion or religious or philosophical belief… People are also protected from being discriminated against because of lack of religion or belief, so they cannot be treated less favourably because they do not follow a certain religion or have no religion or belief at all.
