Developer and Team Productivity • BizTalk project now a part of Team Foundation Server - no additional effort required to use the benefits of TFS (specially automated builds with MSBuild) • New “Project Build” component on BizTalk install to build BT solutions without visual studio • No more “Build” project build type (only debug and release) • All properties of maps and schemas are on the properties windows (no extra windows necessary)

  11. Developer and Team Productivity • UnitTest support for BizTalk artifacts • Built in unit test functionality at a granular artifact level (pipeline, map, schema). Business to Business Integration • WCF based Line of Business Adapters • LOB Adapters SDK upgraded to latest platform • Additional improvements have been made to the existing set of adapters • Oracle DB/SAP/Siebel • Two new adapters: • Oracle E-Business Suites • SQL Server (much improved over the existing SQL adapter)

Business to Business Integration • Host Integration Server 2009 & BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems (BAHS) 2.0 • Currently beta on the Connect website https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=66 • New WCF WebSphere MQ channel to integrate directly with WebSphere MQ • New WCF Service for Host Applications has been added to expose the traditional Transaction Integrator to .NET Framework developers • Support for the most recent versions of CICS, IMS, CICS HTTP transport, DB2, DB2/400, DB2 Universal Database, and WebSphere MQ

Device Connectivity • RFID 1.1 • BizTalk RFID extended to Mobile Devices • For BT09 and BT06R2 • Runs on handhelds and forklift readers • Integrates with BizTalk Server • Support for key industry standards • Enables using new readers with LLRP (Low Level Reader Protocol) • Machine readable tag data standards (TDT for EPC) • Web Services for device management and Discovery, Configuration, Initialization (DCI)
