  3. TDS - History: • 2001 Tispol starts TDS as project. 5 partners (countries) work together. KLPD was the leading partner. • The database operational since the end of 2001 • TDS 2 - 2007 The TDS partner group grows to18. • At this moment TDS contains over 620 documents.

  4. TDS is: • Crash proof • Available in several languages • There is no special need for training to use TDS for information • Accessible live on the Internet

  5. TDS access levels • Level 100 Public • Level 300 Government authorities • Level 500 Police – Inspectors - investigators • Level 900 Expert (Forensic experts) • Level 1000 System

  6. TDS commitments for every partner: • Translate TDS in national language (s) (System language, TDS Menus etc) • Collecting documents • Describe documents in TDS • Translate foreign documents
