  2. 1. Check for Responsiveness • Tap & Shout • Head to Ear • Tap Collar Bone

  3. 2. Activate EMS • If there are Bystanders • POINT “YOU go call 911” • POINT “YOU go get the AED” • If you are BY YOURSELF • YOU Call 911 • YOU run & get the AED

  4. 3. Open the Airway • No Head Injury • Head Tilt Chin Lift • Head Injury • Jaw Thrust

  5. 4. Check Breathing • LLF for 5 to 10 Seconds • LOOK for Breathing • LISTEN for Breathing • FEEL for Breathing • Give Two Breaths

  6. 5. Check Pulse • Carotid Artery • Two Fingers • Closest Two You

Call 911 OR 0 STAY CALM Give Your Name State the Nature of the Emergency What Happened How Many Victims What you Know What you are doingor is being done Address Cross Streets Landmarks Mile Marker THEY will ask for your phone number Hang Up Last IF there are bystanders, send to meet the ambulance Activate the EMS
